Prescribed Dosage : As per Physician Advice.
1 Masha – 750mgs to 1 gram, 2 tablets 2 – 3 times a day.
Dose for children below 5 years – half to 1 tablet once or twice a day after food.
Dose for children between 5 – 12 years – 1 tablet 2 – 3 times a day after food.
Dose for children between 12-18 years – 1-2 tablets 2 – 3 times a day.
Direction of Use : Take two tablet three times a day, along with lukewarm water an hour before taking breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Ajamodadi Tablet has following medicinal properties.
Appetizer, Digestive stimulant, Carminative, Detoxifying, Antispasmodic, Anthelmintic, Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic, Anti-arthritic, Anti-rheumatic, Bioenhancer.
Textual Indications :
Shula (Colicky Pain), Gridhrasi (Sciatica), Amavata (Rheumatism), Shotha (Inflammation), Sandhi shul (Joint pain ), Katishul (Backache), Prusthashul (Pain in the lower back), Guda shul (Pain in the anorectal area), Janghashul (Pain in thigh), Tuni – Pratituni (Renal / ureteric / Groin to Gluteal radiating pain), Vishwachi (Brachial neuralgia – Useful in neck and back pain associated with spondylosis), Kaphavataroga (Disease due to Kapha and Vata dosha).
Common Use :
Rheumatoid arthritis, Pain and swelling due to joint disorders, Sciatica, Backache, Joint pains, Rectal pain, Brachial neuritis, Osteoarthritis, Loss of appetite, Poor digestive function, Intestinal gas, Abdominal pain etc.
Contraindications : This is best avoided during pregnancy, due to strong herbs.
Side Effects : In people with sensitive stomach, this medicine may cause mild gastric irritation.
It can be taken during lactation period, for a limited period of time and in children under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place.
